Miserable

That's exactly how I'm feeling now at Week 12. I have never vomited so much before in the past pregnancies. It was mainly just nausea before but now it's mainly vomiting! Almost every night. The only night that I felt relatively very good was 2 nights ago when I was given a special treat of a night's stay at the hotel all on my own by your very loving Papa. I spent almost the whole time in bed watching a Tamil movie intercepted by news of the (still) missing MH370. Had room service and went over to Starbucks to grab supper after a nice long uninterrupted shower at 9pm. Felt fine the whole time! Watched more TV, read a magazine, surfed a little... aaah. .. Bliss.... Slept so comfortably with 4 fluffy pillows and a lovely comforter. Woke up for breakfast and had the slowest breakfast ever while flipping the pages of the newspaper. Something that I have not done in ages!!!! After almost 2 hours there, I finally got ready to go. That's when I bumped into our World No.1 lady squash player Datuk Nicol David!
We knew that she had a press conference at the hotel the day before as they were getting ready for the 2014 World Women's Squash Championship held in Penang for the very first time and starting tomorrow but I didn't know that she was staying there too! Got a pic with her and slapped myself for not  shaking those hands that hold the racquet! Left after lunch. Had a fantabulous time but was missing Papa, Che-che and Ko-ko so much the whole time!

The night that I got home, I vomited again. Slept a good 8 hours straight. This morning, it was just a dreary feeling. By noon, I was just so tired. I napped another 3 hours with Che and Ko! Maybe that's why I'm still awake now at almost 3am! Got back from dinner just now and came straight up to bed as I was already feeling sick. Have been lying here till now besides going down for milk and some digestives a couple of minutes ago. Threw up a bit of the milk and finally feeling a little relieved. So shall try to sleep now before another day tomorrow!

Think I'm needing another getaway on my own already.....

Datuk Lee Chong Wei wins All England for the 3rd time!

I have left the badminton scene for so long now. Used to play weekly before kids, then once or twice a year with 2 days of immobility after. Now it was pure luck that I managed to catch the last 3 points of the All England finals on TV between Chong Wei and World No.2 Chen Long. Was good to see him bag the title in a straight set (21-13; 21-18). Well done, Chong Wei! Congratulations!

Chong Wei last held the cup in 2012.

Searching for missing Malaysian Airliner MH370

It is almost 48 hours since the mysterious disappearance of flight MH370 which departed from Kuala Lumpur after midnight and due to arrive in Beijing around 6.30am. Reports say that the ground lost all contact with the airliner while it was supposedly flying off the coast of Vietnam. There were 239 passengers on board including 5 who were below five. 12 of them were crew members and about 20 plus were top management from Papa's previous company Freescale Semiconductors. No signs of the missing airliner still till now but too many speculations and false rumours going around especially on social media by suddenly turned journalists and plane experts. Such a hard for the family members of those on board. It feels so unreal that this happened to one of our very own airliner. This kind of thing seems to only happen in movies. But now, we say that it could have happened to any of us as flying has been made more easily accesible.

Praying for the Lord's peace and comfort to be upon them. And for all those involved to execute their jobs well and find something, anything soon.

Already in Week 11!

I remember asking if it's the next week yet during the last pregnancy almost everyday and it was still Week 6 then! Now we are already entering 11 with you! One reason could be life is ultimately busier with your Che-che and Ko-ko now but i do feel that this time round,  the pregnancy is relatively smoother compared to the last although I have been having bouts of vomiting lately. Vomited after lunch yesterday outside the restaurant and also a few more times here and there. Che-che has been so sweet. Telling me not to talk too much and rest. She reminded me later too as we made our way to a birthday party. It to talk too much with the aunties and uncles at the party and eat good food. Such a thoughtful and sweet little Che-che. Today, I was looking for some sweets at church today too as I was feeling a tad nauseous. Che-che heard me and immediately offered me a glass of water instead since no one had any sweets around. Truly a sweet girl.

Reading back notes on the last pregnancy and didn't realise that I also have tougher nails now and although my face is pretty clear this time, I do have spots all over near the hairline.

We have to postpone our appointment with Dr Ng next week as we will be heading back to Ipoh for your new cousins' full moon party. Which means we will be seeing you at approximately Week 13-14. Which also means we will probably know then if we have to wash the pink or the blue clothings before your arrival.

We are also in the midst of discussing if we should get a confinement lady this time to help. They are now charging a whopping RM 3,800! Wondering if we can manage if Popo comes over to help, catering food for us and getting the cleaner in more frequently. Sounds workable but we will never know till the day comes. I should start praying that you will be an easy baby who feeds and sleeps well with good temperament!! :-D
