Month 9.5 - Head Banging, Babbling and Understand 'No'

Have to make this quick. Typing while carrying you to sleep for your nap. Your long overdue nap. You usually sleep around 9.30am. It's now 11.53am. It's a public holiday and siblings at home combo today.

Anyway just remembered some observations and thought I'd quickly note them down first. Oh, you are asleep! Let me have a few minutes of gazing at you.... aah. .  Love these moments... I know I can take a thousand pictures of you sleeping and yet none can bring back the feeling you get when you are there, taking in the actual moment of a sleeping baby. Love it!

Back to writing... so you have been head banging on our chests while being carried. I suspect mainly if when you are tired or trying to get some relief from teething.  It's funny watching you do it so rhythmically.

Then there's the babbling. I think you have been saying words that sound like CheChe and KorKor and Papa since maybe you were 6 months old. I have to confirm that. You talk a great deal really!  Maybe the most amongst the three! When distress I have sometimes heard a 'Mama'! And you may have also blurted out 'Nene' (milk) before. You love watching our lips move when we speak to you.  Probably fascinating and learning at the same time!

On a number of occasions, you have understood my expression when I said 'No' to you or 'Not in the mouth' as you seem to have an automatic switch that moves everything you pick up into your mouth.

Certainly growing well my little sweetheart! Love you so much!!!
